I’m so glad you’re here. This space is a mix of heart and humor—because real life isn’t always tidy, but it can be bold, messy, and beautiful.

Here, real talk meets real transformation. We’ll dig into relationships, mental health (ADHD, Autism, Bipolar, Depression, & OCD), life after gastric sleeve surgery, and learning to live with hearing loss and hearing aids. You’ll also find recipes that nourish more than just your body, reflections on love and second chances, and stories about what it takes to start over and keep going.

This isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up as we are, making space for what’s hard, and celebrating what’s healing. If you’re looking for connection, inspiration, or just a comfy corner of the internet to feel more like yourself, you’re in the right place.

Grab a cup of something cozy and stay awhile—you’re in good company.

Hi, I'm Anna

I’m Anna—mom, home cook, 3+ years post-gastric sleeve, late-diagnosed with autism & ADHD, learning to live with hearing loss, and dating after divorce.

I work full-time, while I'm building a life where I work for myself, through creativity, grit, and a whole lot of heart. Sharing real stories + fave finds in style, home, food, & more.

It took me a long time to believe those words—and even longer to live them. For years, I shrank myself to fit into other people’s comfort zones. I wore what I thought I was “supposed” to. I held back my humor, my style, my voice. I shaped myself into whatever made others feel okay, even when it meant losing pieces of who I really was.

But not anymore.

Now? I show up as the loud-laughing, offbeat, big-hearted version of myself, on purpose. Because being too much for some people just means I’m finally enough for me.

The Topics I Love to Talk About

I cover a little bit of everything such as food, health, creativity, and all the messy, meaningful parts of everyday life. You’ll find recipes that actually make you feel good, thoughts on life after bariatric surgery, and real talk about mental health, especially living with ADHD, Autism, Bipolar disorder, Depression, and OCD.

I’m also into the things that make life softer and a little more fun, crochet, resin art, gardening, and the kind of DIY projects that don’t require a PhD in Pinterest. Some are wins, some… not so much, but it’s all part of the fun.

Whether I’m sharing about relationships, decorating a space that feels like home, figuring out how to move my body in ways that feel good, or just trying to make sense of the day, I try to keep it honest, a little funny, and totally human.

I’m Anna—and if you’re into honest conversations, no-pressure wellness, real talk about mental health, and recipes that don’t require a culinary degree, you’ll feel right at home here.

Life is messy, beautiful, unpredictable, and sometimes just plain hard. I write about all of it — from navigating ADHD, Autism, and depression, to dating after divorce, to finding food that makes me feel good after bariatric surgery & learning how to navigate life with hearing loss. It’s a mix of healing, humor, and heart — and I’d love to share it with you.

My newsletter is where I get a little more personal. It’s where I share stories I don’t always post, things that are helping me right now, favorite finds, and little reminders that you’re not alone — even on the hard days.
